Pharmakon (φάρμακον) – both a remedy and a curse.
Exhibition of Advanced Studio course with Professor Deddo. This class focused on silkscreen printing processes through which students considered themes of longing, nostalgia, memory, history, and photo theory.

This work means a lot to me as it involved the process of searching for an image to reveal itself. The pieces came from building and tearing down layers of a larger composition. The class involved discussions on our topic while individually working on our pieces. My work explores the different feelings of childhood and girlhood specifically. This series is displayed in a show title Pharmakon, exploring nostalgia, complexity, and the past.
